Neptune is NOT the solar system’s farthest planet. While this subject is a matter of ongoing debate, for the many who prefer the geophysical planet definition, which counts dwarf planets as a subclass of planets, the farthest planet is either Eris or Sedna. Neptune is the farthest giant planet.
