Here is the same July 22 waning Crescent Moon seen rising over Cecil Kop Nature Reserve in Mutare, Zimbabwe at 05.45 LT. Amazing color coincidence but it has become noticeably thinner from having been viewed a few hours later.

As the dawn brightened the thin crescent was photographed against several different colors of sky before disappearing into the glare of the approaching sunrise.
