The night sky from Mercury…. A day on Mercury lasts around 58 – 59 earth days. The night is around 176 earth days long. So it would be a very varied night.

I.e., ancients noticed that certain things tended to occur at certain times, and enlarged those sometimes detailed observations to overlay men’s destinies. But there is no “causing” anything to happen . . . just simultaneous occurrences that some find usefully predictive on certain levels. Destinies remain free will to some extent as our decisions determine how we use that synchronicity.

It would enable placing the orientation of gravitationally — step wise propagated — planets, moons and asteroids — to not only account for relativity effects of their motion, what if scenarios in action, but even projectable night sky views.

For example, what does the night sky look like from Mercury? Or what did the night sky look like to Haley when his comment arrived?

I would also not mind learning a bit more about a celestial navigation certificate through the School of Ocean Sailing and Navigation.
