Thanks to Deborah Byrds’ great daily Earth and Sky, and the Bruce McClure article today showing how to find and observe the lesser known Spiral Galaxy M33.
I had always wanted to photograph M33, but with my minimal photography and astronomy equipment, yet just enough with an equatorial mounted telescope, the camera piggybacked on top with a vintage telephoto lens, I made this beautiful Mosaicked panorama of the sky between Andromeda and Triangulum. A couple years ago from my front yard. Not really a true darksky site but I was able to produce this considerable photograph.
