Nesta paisaxe nocturna de aninovo, as escintilantes cortinas avermelladas da aurora austral ao longo dun horizonte sur son captadas sobre Morgiana, Victoria Sudoccidental (Australia). Naturalmente, hai na escena xoias máis permanente dos ceos do hemisferio sur. A Vía Láctea meridional, Alfa e Beta Centauri e as estrelas brillantes da Cruz do Sur están á esquerda.
