This is the best practice. It streamlines the written flow as well.

Even wrote her once from India in early 80s. I’m a self taught Astrononer. Stardate had a role to play in my Astronomy pursuits. Mr Bruce McClure, use of terminology like postdusk thru premidnight on July 8 and either midnight sometimes, else postmidnight thru predawn on July 9 is the best practice for laypersons. This reading was confusing as if two full Moons occured: postdusk for the Americas on July 8 and postdusk for Asia on July 9 — which then contradicts your wrting, “full moon for a fleeting monent” of 180° lunar opposition dozen plus times annually. So it wouldn’t be 11:07 p.m. also. And it wouldn’t be July 8.
