This shot captures the Milky Way core and the Galactic Center. Included are a few star clusters and the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae ( the pink blobs ), the Dark Horse and Pipe Nebulae plus lots of details of the Dust Lanes. Oh and the Supermassive Black Hole at the Galactic Center is also in this image....but it takes some imagination to see it. It's between the Lagoon Nebula and the M6 Star Cluster also known as The Butterfly Cluster.
The Galactic Center is not annotated but found in this annotated linked image:https://galacticcenter.astro.ucla.edu/learn-about-our-galaxy.html
This is one of best single exposure images I've taken thus far of the Milky Way Core and I'll be stacking some of my shots from this session to see how much improvement I can achieve with stacking. Fingers crossed.
